Zeynel M. Karcioglu
ZEYNEL M. KARCIOGLU, a partner of the Firm, is a graduate of the University of Chicago and the George Washington University, where he received an MBA in addition to his law degree. Following law school, he practiced at Pennie & Edmonds, LLP, at the time one of the country's largest intellectual property law firms, and later formed his own practice. Zeynel, who joined Jacobs & Burleigh in 2009, focuses his law practice primarily on trademark and copyright protection and litigation matters, as well as commercial litigation for a domestic and international client base. He has represented clients in commercial arbitration proceedings, in the state courts of New York, before the United States Trademark Trial and Appeals Board (the TTAB), and in the federal and appellate court throughout the United States. Mr. Karcioglu represents foreign clientele throughout Europe, Asia and the Far East, and speaks Turkish and Spanish.
Zeynel is a member of the New York County Bar Association's Federal Courts Committee and authored the section on Internet Law of the Committee's decennial Southern District of New York Retrospective 2000-2010.
In 2015 and 2016, Zeynel was honored to be selected as a New York Metro Area Super Lawyer® in the fields of Intellectual Property and Business Litigation.
